211.870 Regulation of radiation sources.
The Cabinet for Health and Family Services may promulgate administrative regulations <br>relating to operators of sources of radiation other than licensed practitioners of the healing <br>arts. The administrative regulations may include, but need not be limited to, the <br>classification and certification of operators; examinations; standards of training and <br>experience; curricula standards for institutions teaching persons to operate radiation <br>sources; issuance, renewal, and revocation of certificates; appeal of certificate denials or <br>revocations pursuant to KRS Chapter 13B; and other standards or regulations appropriate <br>for protection of health and safety.
