CHAPTER 62 OATHS AND BONDS
62.080 Liability for public funds placed in depository.
Download pdfor fiducial office, trust or employment are relieved from all liability as insurers of funds
that come into their hands or subject to their control after the funds are deposited in good
faith in a depository or depositories in the county approved by the fiscal court, and the
obligors in the bonds shall not be responsible for loss of, or delay in payment of such
funds by reason of the failure or suspension of such depository. Effective: October 1, 1942
