21.380 Normal retirement age.

(1) The normal retirement date or age of a member shall be his sixty-fifth birthday, but the normal retirement age shall be reduced by one (1) year, but no more than five <br>(5) years total, for: <br>(a) Each five (5) years of service credit in the plan; and <br>(b) Each year of service credit the member has earned beyond that needed to receive a retirement benefit of one hundred percent (100%) of final <br>compensation. (2) KRS 21.350 to 21.480 do not require that a member retire at the normal retirement <br>date. Effective: July 15, 1994 <br>History: Amended 1994 Ky.
