304.24-070 Completion of incorporation -- General powers, duties. The incorporation of an insurer shall be effective as of the date of issuance by the Secretary of State of its articles of incorporation; and thereupon the corporation shall be vested with all the powers, rights and privileges, and be subject to all the duties, liabilities and restrictions applicable to insurer corporations; subject, however, to qualification and application for, and issuance to the corporation of, a certificate of authority as an insurer by the executive director under the provisions of this code. Acts chs. 11, 85, 95, 97, 98, 99, 123, and 181 instruct the Reviser of Statutes to correct statutory references to agencies and officers whose names have been changed in 2005 legislation confirming the reorganization of the executive branch. Such a correction has been made in this section.
