304.15-708 Emergency cease and desist order when public health, safety, or welfare is endangered -- Fee. (1) When the office finds that a violation presents an immediate danger to the public health, safety, or welfare that requires an immediate final order, it shall issue an emergency cease and desist order reciting with particularity the facts underlying the findings. The emergency cease and desist order is effective immediately upon service of a copy of the order on the respondent. (2) The office may impose and collect an administrative fine not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for each violation of a cease and desist order issued in accordance with this section. Acts chs. 11, 85, 95, 97, 98, 99, 123, and 181 instruct the Reviser of Statutes to correct statutory references to agencies and officers whose names have been changed in 2005 legislation confirming the reorganization of the executive branch.
