224.46-570 Manifest system. The cabinet shall require the use of a manifest system for the orderly tracking of hazardous wastes from the generation site to the site of treatment, storage, and disposal except for coal mining wastes pursuant to KRS 224.50-760(1)(c). The system shall, at a minimum, require the designation of the generator, each transporter, the disposal facility, and the type and quantity of waste involved. The cabinet may establish additional criteria to accommodate the manifest system to internal record keeping and to facilitate the monitoring of hazardous waste activity within the Commonwealth.
