194A.723 Penalties for operating without certification. (1) Any assisted-living community that provides services without filing a current application with the division or receiving certification by the division may be fined up to five hundred dollars ($500) per day. (2) Any business that markets its services as an assisted-living community without filing a current application with the division or receiving certification by the division may be fined up to five hundred dollars ($500) per day.
