97.257 Power of condemnation for park purposes. Whenever property shall be needed by any city of the first class for any park, playground, or community center purpose contemplated in KRS 97.250 to 97.257, either within or beyond the boundaries of such city, in the county in which such city is located, the director of parks and recreation may, with the consent of the legislative body of such city, order the condemnation of such property in the manner provided in the Eminent Domain Act of Kentucky.
