90.390 Prohibition of political activity. (1) No person shall be appointed to any position because of political partisan service rendered by him or his family, or because of political sentiment or affiliation, nor shall any person be dismissed or reduced in grade because of any political opinion. (2) No employee of a city of the second class shall coerce or persuade another, or in any way actively participate in any election, or cause others to do so.
