2006 Kansas Code - 80-1108

      80-1108.   Same; records, funds and property. The books, papers, documents, moneys, funds, and other assets or property, real, personal and mixed of every kind, character or description belonging to such townships so disorganized shall be delivered by the officers thereof to the board of county commissioners who shall distribute said money and property not later than thirty days after the date of reorganization, among the new townships in proportion to the territory from which said money and property was originally derived, and the same shall become the property of such new townships.
