74-49,124. Administration of Kansas public employees retirement fund; application of federal internal revenue code. The board shall administer the Kansas public employees retirement fund, including all benefit structures administered by the board, in the manner required to satisfy the applicable qualification requirements for governmental plans as specified in the federal internal revenue code of 1954 or 1986, as amended and as appropriate for a governmental plan and as in effect on July 1, 1998.
