CHAPTER 314 - ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS FOR HIGHWAYS
314.4 - PARTIAL PAYMENTS.

        314.4  PARTIAL PAYMENTS.
         Partial payments may be made on highway contract work during the
      progress thereof, but no such partial payment shall be deemed final
      acceptance of the work nor a waiver of any defect therein.  The
      approval of any claim by the agency in control of the work, or
      highway on which the work is located, may be evidenced by the
      signature of the chairperson of said agency, or of a majority of the
      members of said agency, on the individual claims or on the abstract
      of a number of claims with the individual claims attached to said
      abstract.
