CHAPTER 306C - JUNKYARD BEAUTIFICATION AND BILLBOARD CONTROL
306C.1 - DEFINITIONS.



        306C.1  DEFINITIONS.
         For the purposes of this division unless the context otherwise
      requires:
         1.  "Department" means the state department of transportation.

         2.  "Interstate highway" includes "interstate road" and
      "interstate system" and means any highway of the primary system
      at any time officially designated as a part of the national system of
      interstate and defense highways by the department and approved by the
      appropriate authority of the federal government.
         3.  "Junk" means old or scrap copper, brass, rope, rags,
      batteries, paper, trash, rubber debris, waste, or junked, dismantled,
      or wrecked automobiles, or parts of automobiles, or iron, steel, or
      other old or scrap ferrous or nonferrous material.
         4.  "Junkyard" means an establishment or place of business
      which is maintained, operated, or used primarily for storing,
      keeping, buying, or selling junk; and the term includes garbage
      dumps, sanitary fills, and automobile graveyards.
