52.4 - EXAMINERS -- TERM -- REMOVAL.

        52.4  EXAMINERS -- TERM -- REMOVAL.
         1.  The state commissioner of elections shall appoint three
      members to a board of examiners for voting systems, not more than two
      of whom shall be from the same political party.  The examiners shall
      hold office for staggered terms of six years, subject to removal at
      the pleasure of the state commissioner of elections.
         2.  At least one of the examiners shall have been trained in
      computer programming and operations.  The other two members shall be
      directly involved in the administration of elections and shall have
      experience in the use of optical scan voting systems.
