515.148 - EXPENSES OF EXAMINATION.
515.148 EXPENSES OF EXAMINATION. The necessary expenses of any examination of any insurance company made or ordered to be made by the commissioner of insurance under this chapter shall be certified to by the commissioner, and paid on the commissioner's requisition by the company so examined; and in case of failure of the company to make such payment, the commissioner shall suspend such company from doing business in this state until such expenses are paid. If such expenses are not paid by the company, they shall be audited by the director of the department of administrative services and paid out of the state treasury.Section History: Early Form
