The bureau of motor vehicles may not register or license a motor bus, truck, tractor, trailer, or semitrailer used or intended to be used for hire by the owner whenever the law requires the owner to obtain a permit or certificate of convenience and necessity from the department until the department furnishes the bureau of motor vehicles with an instrument. As added by P.L.99-1989, SEC.10. IC 8-2.1-19-2 Contents of instrument Sec. 2. The instrument must certify that the owner of such motor bus, truck, tractor, trailer, or semitrailer has complied with the law and the rules of the department concerning permits and certificates of convenience and necessity and the use of motor vehicles. As added by P.L.99-1989, SEC.10.
