Taking custody under court order
31-37-4-1 Sec. 1. A child may be taken into custody by a law
enforcement officer under an order of the court.

Taking custody without court order
31-37-4-2 Sec. 2. A child may be taken into custody by a law
enforcement officer acting with probable cause to believe that the
child has committed a delinquent act.
