CONSOLIDATION OF HIGHWAY DISTRICTS

40-1519. Expenses of election -- Proration to highway districts -- Appeals. [effective until january 1, 2011] In all counties where highway district consolidation elections are held under the provisions of this chapter, county commissioners shall pay expenses of the elections from the general fund of the county. The expenses shall be prorated by the commissioners according to the mileage and market value for assessment purposes of each of the highway districts involved, and upon certification of this pro rata share by the county commissioners, that share shall be paid to the county from funds of the appropriate highway district. Any appeals shall follow the appeals procedure set forth in section 40-1706, Idaho Code.

40-1519. Expenses of election. [effective january 1, 2011] In all counties where highway district consolidation elections are held under the provisions of this chapter, county commissioners shall pay expenses of the elections from the election fund of the county.
