SINGLE COUNTY-WIDE HIGHWAY DISTRICTS

40-1409. Expenses of election -- Proration to existing systems and districts -- Appeals. [effective until january 1, 2011] In all counties where elections are held under the provisions of this chapter, commissioners shall pay expenses of the elections from the general fund of county. The expense shall be prorated by the commissioners according to the mileage, market value for assessment purposes, and the population to city highway systems, highway districts, and the county, and upon certification of this pro rata share by the commissioners, that share shall be paid to the county. Any appeals shall follow the appeals procedure set forth in section 40-1705, Idaho Code, for appeals from readjustment of district borders.

40-1409. Expenses of election. [effective january 1, 2011] In all counties where elections are held under the provisions of this chapter, county commissioners shall pay expenses of the elections from the election fund of the county.
