SCHOOL ELECTIONS

33-438. Conduct of election -- Form of ballot. [effective until january 1, 2011] The special election to be called for the recall of school trustees shall be conducted in the same manner as regular school trustee elections are conducted. The clerk of the school board shall provide for the holding of recall elections and the necessary places and officers, ballot boxes, ballots, poll books, voting machines, supplies, and returns as are required by law for holding regular school trustee elections. The ballots at any recall election shall contain a full true, and correct copy of the recall statement, the school trustee’s response to the recall statement if such has been filed, and shall be so arranged that any voter can, by making one cross (X), express his desire to have the school trustee charged recalled from his office, or retained therein.
