    31-3903.  AMBULANCE SERVICE -- POWERS AND DUTIES OF BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS. The board of county commissioners shall determine the manner in
which said ambulance service shall be operated, and is empowered to make
expenditures from the ambulance service fund for the purchase or lease of real
property and the construction of buildings necessary in connection with said
service, to acquire necessary equipment for the operation and maintenance of
said service, and to pay necessary salaries.
