                          JURY SELECTION AND SERVICE
    2-205.  JURY COMMISSIONS ESTABLISHED -- COMPOSITION -- QUALIFICATIONS OF
COMMISSIONERS -- EXPENSES AND COMPENSATION. A jury commission is established
in each county to manage the jury selection process under the supervision and
control of the court. The jury commission shall be composed of the clerk of
the district court and a jury commissioner appointed by the administrative
judge. The jury commissioner shall serve until a successor is appointed and
qualifies. The jury commissioner must be a citizen of the United States and a
resident in the county in which the jury commissioner serves. The jury
commissioner may be reimbursed for travel, subsistence, and other necessary
expenses incurred in the performance of jury commission duties and may receive
compensation at a per diem rate fixed by the administrative judge and payable
from county funds, if not otherwise a county employee.
