Chapter 339 Transportation Finance And Planning  
339.081   Department trust funds.

1339.081  Department trust funds.--The Comptroller shall maintain within the State Treasury the following trust funds for the department:

(1)  The State Transportation Trust Fund, to which shall be credited the proceeds of the gas tax as authorized by chapter 83-3, Laws of Florida, and such other funds which accrue to the department which are not required to be maintained in separate trust funds.

(2)  The Working Capital Trust Fund created by s. 339.145 for the efficient operation of the department.

(3)  Such other funds as may be authorized by bond resolutions or agreements with any other public bodies or agencies.

1Note.--Section 1, ch. 97-125, provides that "[t]he Everglades Parkway Construction Trust Fund is hereby created, to be administered by the Department of Transportation. The trust fund is created pursuant to ss. 339.081(3) and 338.165(3), Florida Statutes, and by action of the Department of Transportation in issuing revenue bonds pledged by the toll revenues on the Alligator Alley, in accordance with these sections of law."
