Sec. 9-317. Certification of election of U.S. senator.
Sec. 9-317. Certification of election of U.S. senator. When any senator in Congress has been elected, the Governor shall certify his election under the seal of the state to the President of the Senate of the United States, which certificate shall be countersigned by the Secretary of the State.(1949 Rev., S. 101; 1953, S. 795d.)
