Sec. 46b-212b. Tribunals of state.

      Sec. 46b-212b. Tribunals of state. The Superior Court and the Family Support Magistrate Division of the Superior Court are the tribunals of this state. The Family Support Magistrate Division is the tribunal for the filing of petitions under sections 46b-212 to 46b-213w, inclusive, provided clerical, administrative and other nonjudicial functions in proceedings before the Family Support Magistrate Division may be performed by Support Enforcement Services of the Superior Court.

      History: June 18 Sp. Sess. P.A. 97-1 effective January 1, 1998; P.A. 01-91 changed "the Support Enforcement Division" to "Support Enforcement Services"; P.A. 07-247 replaced reference to Sec. 46b-213v with reference to Sec. 46b-213w, effective January 1, 2008.
