Sec. 33-736. Qualifications of directors.
Sec. 33-736. Qualifications of directors. The certificate of incorporation or bylaws may prescribe qualifications for directors. A director need not be a resident of this state or a shareholder of the corporation unless the certificate of incorporation or bylaws so prescribe.(P.A. 94-186, S. 84, 215; P.A. 96-271, S. 62, 254.)
History: P.A. 94-186 effective January 1, 1997; P.A. 96-271 replaced "articles" of incorporation with "certificate" of incorporation, effective January 1, 1997.
