Sec. 16a-38n. Clean and distributive generation grant program. (a) On and after October 1, 2007, the Department of Public Utility Control shall, in consultation with the Renewable Energy Investments Advisory Board and the Office of Policy and Management, establish a grant program for clean and distributive generation, generated from a Class I renewable energy source, projects for businesses and state buildings.(b) The Department of Public Utility Control shall award grants as follows: (1) Not more than twenty-five million dollars shall be awarded to fuel cell projects, and (2) not more than twenty-five million dollars shall be awarded for all other clean and distributive generation projects.
