Sec. 20-211a. Reciprocal agreements waiving apprenticeships.
Sec. 20-211a. Reciprocal agreements waiving apprenticeships. The Connecticut Board of Examiners of Embalmers and Funeral Directors may, upon the affirmative
vote of a majority of its members, enter into an agreement with the corresponding licensing authority of any other state competent to enter into such agreement which agreement
shall be in substantially the following form: "We, the undersigned representatives of
the various states, by and through their respective licensing authorities, hereby jointly
agree that a person duly registered and licensed as a funeral director or embalmer in
either one of the several states may be licensed as a funeral director or embalmer in
the other state upon payment of the appropriate license fee without the necessity of
completing an apprenticeship period."(P.A. 73-511.)
