Sec. 26-309. State acquisition of essential habitat. Management. (a) The commissioner may acquire for and on behalf of the state, essential habitat, or interests therein,
for the conservation of endangered, threatened, or species of special concern by gift,
devise, purchase, exchange, condemnation or any other method of acquiring real property or an interest therein.
