Sec. 19a-111a. Lead poisoning prevention program. (a) The Commissioner of
Public Health shall establish a lead poisoning prevention program. Such program shall
provide screening, diagnosis, consultation, inspection and treatment services, including,
but not limited to, the prevention and elimination of lead poisoning through research,
abatement, education and epidemiological and clinical activities.

History: P.A. 93-381 replaced commissioner of health services with commissioner of public health and addiction services, effective July 1, 1993; P.A. 95-257 replaced Commissioner and Department of Public Health and Addiction Services with Commissioner and Department of Public Health, effective July 1, 1995; P.A. 03-252 made a technical change in Subsec. (b).
