SECTION 43530-43532.5
43530. The board may acquire by condemnation all property it deems necessary for the construction, maintenance, improvement, and operation of the works or the carrying out of the project of the district, except that private property devoted to the use of one water storage district or any irrigation district or other district or any city or county shall not be taken by any water storage district. 43532.5. Notwithstanding any other provision in this article, the board shall not commence any proceedings in eminent domain with respect to property located outside of a county in which the district is located unless the board of supervisors of the county in which such property is situated gives its approval to such proceedings.
