FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL CODE
SECTION 57041-57043

57041.  Violation of any provision of this chapter or laws affecting
personal injury or property damage by a produce dealer or registered
unloader is grounds for license or registration revocation or
suspension.
   Before suspending or revoking any registration or license under
this chapter, the commissioner shall afford the holder of such
registration or license an opportunity to be heard in person or by
counsel. The proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with
Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 11500) of Part 1 of Division 3 of
Title 2 of the Government Code, and the commissioner shall have all
the powers granted therein.

57042.  The director may assess a fee not to exceed four hundred
dollars ($400) per year payable by produce dealers for use
exclusively in administering the provisions of this chapter.

57043.  The violation of any provision of this chapter by any person
is a misdemeanor.
