FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL CODESECTION 39351-39353
39351. Except as otherwise provided, the provisions of this code which relate to margarine, dairy spread, or spread are likewise applicable to colored margarine, colored dairy spread, or colored spread. 39352. It is unlawful for any person knowingly to ship, or for any carrier for hire knowingly to receive for shipment, any margarine, dairy spread, or spread unless it is labeled in conformity with this chapter and shipped and receipted for in its true name, or unless it is in transit between foreign states. 39353. It is unlawful for any person knowingly to possess or have under his or her control any margarine, dairy spread, or spread, except for actual consumption by himself or herself or his or her family, unless it is labeled in conformity with this chapter.
