2009 California Food and Agricultural Code - Section 18381-18382 :: Article 2. Ownership Against Public Policy

18381.  No packer shall own or control, directly or indirectly,
through stock ownership or control or otherwise, by himself or
through his agents or employees, any interest in a stockyard.

18382.  Such ownership or control is hereby declared to be contrary
to public policy, as tending to create a monopoly and to interfere
with trade and commerce.
