ELECTIONS CODE
SECTION 18700



18700.  Any voter who has filed an application for the position of,
and been appointed as a precinct board member and who, without being
excused by the county elections official, knowingly fails to act as a
precinct board member, is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a
fine not to exceed one hundred dollars (0).
