BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONS CODE
SECTION 19220-19221

19220.  Every person who violates any of the provisions of this
chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and punishable for each offense by
a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than
one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) or by imprisonment for not
less than three nor more than six months or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
19221.  The unit for a separate and distinct offense in violation of
this chapter is each and every article of improperly labeled, or not
labeled, upholstered furniture or bedding or filling material made,
repaired, recovered, renovated, sanitized, sold, exposed or offered
for sale, delivered, consigned, rented, or possessed with intent to
sell contrary to the provisions of this chapter.
