2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes §22-221 Postponement of trials
A justice of the peace may for good cause shown, supported by affidavit, postpone the trial for a period not exceeding ten days, but where a postponement is requested for want of material evidence, the postponement may be for as long as thirty days.
