Title 13 DECEDENTS' ESTATES, GUARDIANSHIPS, TRANSFERS, AND TRUSTS
Chapter 13.52. HEALTH CARE DECISIONS ACT
Sec. 13.52.250. Sale or purchase of parts prohibited.

(a) A person may not knowingly, for valuable consideration, sell or purchase a part for any purpose.

(b) In (a) of this section, "valuable consideration" does not include reasonable payment for the removal, processing, disposal, preservation, quality control, storage, transportation, or implantation of the part or entire body.

(c) A person who violates this section is guilty of a class C felony.
