Title 25 MARITAL AND DOMESTIC RELATIONS
Chapter 25.30. UNIFORM CHILD CUSTODY JURISDICTION ACT
Sec. 25.30.040. Notice to persons outside this state; submission to jurisdiction.

(a) Notice required for the exercise of jurisdiction over a person outside this state shall be given in accordance with the provisions of Rule 4, Alaska Rules of Civil Procedure.

(b) Notice under this section shall be served, mailed, delivered, or published at least 20 days before any hearing in this state.

(c) Proof of service outside this state shall be made according to the provisions of Rule 4, Alaska Rules of Civil Procedure.

(d) Notice is not required if a person submits to the jurisdiction of the court.
