TITLE 21 INSURANCE
Chapter 21.84. FRATERNAL BENEFIT SOCIETIES
Sec. 21.84.340. ANNUAL STATEMENT.

(a) Reports shall be filed and synopses of annual statements shall be published in accordance with this section.

(b) Every society transacting business in this state shall annually, before the second of March, unless for cause shown the time has been extended by the director, file with the director a true statement of its financial condition, transactions, and affairs for the preceding calendar year and pay a fee set under AS 21.06.250 for filing it. The statement must be in the general form and context approved by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners for fraternal benefit societies and supplemented by additional information required by the director.

(c) A synopsis of its annual statement providing an explanation of the facts concerning the condition of the society shall be printed and mailed to each benefit member of the society not later than June 1 of each year, or published in the society's official publication.
