TITLE 21 INSURANCE
Chapter 21.42. THE INSURANCE CONTRACT
Sec. 21.42.353. COVERAGE FOR COSTS OF ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT.
An insurer authorized under AS 21.09 to offer, issue for delivery, deliver, or renew a disability insurance policy in the state, or a hospital or medical service corporation authorized under AS 21.87 to offer or renew a subscriber's contract, may offer coverage for services of an acupuncturist licensed under AS 08.06 if the policy or contract covers acupuncture treatment by a health care provider who is subject to other provisions of AS 08.
