Title 42 - Public Health
(a) “Dental services” means diagnostic, preventive, or corrective procedures provided by or under the supervision of a dentist in the practice of his profession, including treatment of— (1) The teeth and associated structures of the oral cavity; and (2) Disease, injury, or impairment that may affect the oral or general health of the recipient. (b) “Dentist” means an individual licensed to practice dentistry or dental surgery. [43 FR 45224, Sept. 29, 1978, as amended at 45 FR 24888, Apr. 11, 1980]
