TEXAS COURT OF APPEALS, THIRD DISTRICT, AT AUSTIN NO. 03-17-00136-CV Lauren Heather McMahan, Appellant v. Adolfo Gallela, Appellee FROM THE DISTRICT COURT OF TRAVIS COUNTY, 201ST JUDICIAL DISTRICT NO. D-1-FM-04-006345, HONORABLE TIM SULAK, JUDGE PRESIDING MEMORANDUM OPINION On August 10, 2017, we notified appellant Lauren Heather McMahan that the appellate record in this case does not appear to contain a final or otherwise appealable order. This Court’s jurisdiction is limited to the review of final judgments and certain interlocutory orders signed by the trial court. See Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code §§ 51.012, .014; see also Lehman v. Har-Con Corp., 39 S.W.3d 191, 195 (Tex. 2001). We requested that McMahan file a response demonstrating how this Court might exercise jurisdiction over the appeal. She has responded with two telephone calls and two motions, but none of these demonstrated that a final judgment or appealable order has been signed by the trial court. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(a). __________________________________________ David Puryear, Justice Before Justices Puryear, Field, and Bourland Dismissed for Want of Jurisdiction Filed: September 14, 2017 2
