MEMORANDUM OPINION

The court granted Veach's application for a writ of habeas corpus on October 29, 1993, setting aside his conviction for driving while intoxicated. The State filed a notice of appeal from this ruling on November 15. On the day that its brief was due, the State requested an extension of time to file an appellant's brief. This court granted the motion and set the due date as January 3, 1994. No brief has been filed. Thus, this appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution.
