COURT OF APPEALS EIGHTH DISTRICT OF TEXAS EL PASO, TEXAS § AMADEO MARCELO RIVERA, No. 08-17-00004-CV § Appellant, Appeal from the § V. 65th District Court § LAURA STRATHMANN, of El Paso County, Texas § Appellee. (TC# 2003CM4710) § MEMORANDUM OPINION This appeal is before the Court on its own motion to determine whether the appeal should be dismissed for want of prosecution because the clerk’s record has not been filed. Finding that the clerk’s record has not been filed due to the fault of the Appellant, Amadeo Marcelo Rivera, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. The clerk’s record was due to be filed on February 15, 2017, but it has not been filed. The El Paso County District Clerk notified the Court that Appellant has not made financial arrangements to pay for preparation of the clerk’s record. The Court notified Appellant by letter regarding his failure to make financial arrangements to pay for the clerk’s record and advised him that the appeal would be dismissed for want of prosecution unless he responded within ten days and showed grounds for continuing the appeal. See TEX.R.APP.P. 37.3(b). No reply has been received. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See TEX.R.APP.P. 42.3(b), (c).
