STATE OF MICHIGAN COURT OF APPEALS PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN, UNPUBLISHED June 17, 2008 Plaintiff-Appellee, v No. 272732 Oakland Circuit Court LC No. 05-204038-FC ALAN EDWARD WATSON, Defendant-Appellant. Before: White, P.J., and Hoekstra and Schuette, JJ. WHITE, P.J., (concurring). I can see no sound trial strategy behind the failure to object to all testimony concerning the marijuana found in the house, which was suppressed, and linking that suppressed evidence with the marijuana involved in the May transaction. I also can discern no strategy behind the failure to object to testimony regarding the items found in defendant’s car. Nevertheless, I conclude that the outcome of the trial was not affected by these failures, and agree with the affirmance. /s/ Helene N. White -1-
