Van Buren Circuit Court
Family Division
LC No. 98-011536
KIMBERLY SLONE-SHELTON,
Respondent-Appellant,
and
THOMAS KELLY, LEWIS GREEN and ERIC
SHELTON,
Respondents.
Before: McDonald, P.J., and Smolenski and K. F. Kelly, JJ.
MEMORANDUM.
Respondent-appellant appeals as of right from the family court order terminating her
parental rights to Thomas Lenell Kelly, Jr., following her voluntary release of parental rights
pursuant to MCL 710.29; MSA 27.3178(555.29). We affirm.
Respondent-appellant argues that the release of her parental rights to Thomas Kelly, Jr.
should be revoked for various reasons. However, because respondent-appellant did not petition
the family court to revoke her release of parental rights, the issue is not properly before this
Court. MCL 710.29(10); MSA 27.3178(555.29)(10); MCL 710.64; MSA 27.3178(555.64); In re
Myers, 131 Mich App 160, 164; 345 NW2d 663 (1983).
Affirmed.
