MEMORANDUM.
Defendant pleaded guilty to conspiracy to escape jail, MCL 750.157(a); MSA 28.354(1), jail
escape, MCL 750.197(2); MSA 28.394, and habitual offender, third offense, MCL 769.11; MSA
28.1083. He was sentenced to three to eight years’ imprisonment on both the conspiracy and the jail
escape convictions. He appeals as of right. We affirm. This case has been decided without oral
argument pursuant to MCR 7.214(A).
We decline defendant’s request for a remand to permit the amendment of the judgment of
sentence. Defendant has failed to demonstrate a need for remand. Defendant is free to petition the trial
court for a correction of the judgment and provide the trial court with any supporting evidence of
mistake. MCR 6.435.
Affirmed.
