Petitioner, a state prisoner, filed a pro se petition for a writ of habeas corpus

under 28 U.S.C. § 2254, challenging his state conviction. On March 22, 2012, the

Court issued an order to show cause. (Docket No. 10.) On July 5, 2012,

Respondent filed a response to the order to show cause. (Docket No. 14.) Petitioner
20
has filed an application for an extension of time of sixty (60) days to file a traverse.

Good cause appearing, Petitioner’s request for an extension of time is

GRANTED in part. Petitioner shall have an additional thirty (30) days to file a
