On July 23, 2012, the Court ordered Plaintiff to serve a copy of his cert petition on
14
Defendant’s counsel and the Court by August 9, 2012. Based on Plaintiff’s response, it appears that
15
he filed a Petition for Writ of Certiorari on April 17, 2012. Dkt. No. 72. Accordingly, the stay will
16
remain in effect until the Supreme Court acts on the petition – a grant will result in a continued stay
17
and a denial will result in the stay being lifted.
